Scott Cusimano - Owner

Scott has produced over 600 State & Regional Champions and over 80 National Champion competitors. He is a member of US Elite Coaches Association. Scott is a contributing author to five publications addressing strength training, body awareness, gymnastics instruction and cheerleading progression. Scott also was a former staff member and head instructor for International Cheerleading Foundation (ICF) and was the Training Camp Staff Director for over 10 years. Scott is also host and manages gymnastic and cheerleading events and director.

 

 

Debbie Cusimano – Owner/Coach

Debbie is a former gymnast and cheerleader at the Indiana State University. Along with Scott she has produced over 600 State & Regional Champions and over 80 National Champion competitors. Debbie specializes in the All-Around and Beam where she has had numerous National Champions. Debbie has been coaching since 1976 and was a Training Camp Instructor for ICF and has also served as the Competition Coordinator for WCA Nationals for several years.

 

 

Mark French – Program Administrator

Mark is a former University of Florida and Kansas City Chief Cheerleader and Coach. ICF & WCA Training Camp Staff Director for 10 years. He has taught camps in the US, Scotland, England and South America. Mark has worked in the cheerleading industry for over 25 years.  He has also judged numerous competitions in the US, Europe and Asia. Mark is the Executive Director for GymQuarters and is the President of Cheer Nationals at Opryland and manages and consults cheerleading competitions in the United States and Europe.

 

 

Tony Willoughby – Coach

Tony is a former cheerleader at the University of Oklahoma. He has been coaching cheerleading and dance for nearly 25 years. He was the co-founder and former coach of Saint Louis Extreme and has won at least 100 National Championships with All Stars and High Schools. Tony currently judges numerous National competitions for:  the WCA, Valley of the Sun Championships, America’s Best Championships, Great Lake Cheerleading Championships, Golden State Spirit Association, Jamfest Live, Jamfest Nationals and has judged internationally in Scotland and in England. He has also judged “The Cheerleading Worlds” 2010, 2011, and 2012.

 

 

Erin Kirsch – Coach

Erin was a gymnast for 12 years and a State Champion cheerleader in 2001. She has coached gymnastics and cheerleading at SEMO. Erin has worked with GymQuarters since 2002 in our Junior Developmental Program and as a tumbling coach. This is Erin’s fourth year with the Tiger Elite Program. 

 

 

Christy Brockman – Coach

Christy cheered in high school as well as on a Co-ed All-Star Squad.  She was a cheerleader for Missouri Valley College and was a UCA Staff member for 3 years.  Christy worked with the Chiefs Cheerleaders for their Junior Cheer Program and ran after school cheer programs for an elementary school in Independence, MO.  She coached an All-Star Cheer Squad at GAGE in Blue Springs, MO.  Christy has judged high school cheer tryouts and elite cheer competitions.  She is also currently coaching gymnastics here at GymQuarters.

 

 

Stephanie French – Coach

Stephanie has over 25 years’ experience in the cheerleading industry in; Coaching, Choreography, Judging, Curriculum Development and Instructor Training. She cheered four years at Louisiana State University.  Stephanie was the VP at the WCA in charge of Program/Curriculum Development  and Staff Training. She was also the founder and President of the United States Cheerleading Federation.  Stephanie is also the Executive Director of Program Development, for the International Cheerleading Federation, Consulting on Proper Skill Technique and Progression, for developing programs in European and Asian Countries.

Todd Becnel – Tiger Elite Founder/Coach & Choreographer

Todd is a former LSU Cheerleader. He founded Tiger Elite in 1998.  Todd was a ICF & WCA Training Camp Staff Director – Stunts & Pyramids. Todd also was a former staff member and head instructor for ICF.  Todd has over 25 years of coaching and cheerleading experience, He also has judged competitions nationally and around the world. USASF Safety Certified.

 

 

Lynwood Nixon – Choreographer & Coach

Former Varsity Cheerleader at Orange Park High School, ICF Male Cheerleader of the year, Head Instructor and Camp Director for ICF, Director of Staff and Curriculum for the WCA, Spirit Coordinator for Tulane University. Lynny has over 20 years of coaching and cheerleading under his belt, He also judges competitions around the country. USASF Safety Certified.
